Jane and I shared children and a delightful grandchild. She became an instant friend at our childrens'wedding. I admired her courage and her life accomplishments. I will miss Jane; a kind and gentle lady.##imported-begin##jeannette scott##imported-end##
Aunt Jane was a woman of character and dignity. I admired her courage in the face of illness and she never let it ruin her life. In a recent phone call she told me that she had had a good life and was ready to meet whatever the good Lord had in store for her. Her next sentence made me laugh. She told me that "God just didn't want her yet!" Well, Aunt Jane, he wanted you,he just didn't have a place special enough for you until today. I'll miss you!
