Preston was born and raised in Longview, and was a 2005 graduate of Pine Tree High School. He is also a 2010 graduate of Texas Tech University, and is currently enrolled at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. Preston currently resides in Henderson and has become an active member of the Henderson area Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador. He is an avid golfer and hunter and enjoys anything outdoors along with spending his off time with family and friends.

Mike was born and raised in Henderson, and was a 1968 graduate of Henderson High School. He attended Kilgore Jr. College and Stephen F. Austin University. Mike was a 1976 honor graduate of the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He has served as a director on the East Texas Funeral Director’s Association. Mike has worked in radio broadcasting for 25 years announcing the Henderson Lion’s football, basketball, and baseball games. Mike is also a licensed airplane pilot. He is married to Beverly Baughman who is the curriculum director at Henderson Middle School. The Baughman’s attend Calvary Baptist Church, where Mike sings in the choir. Mike and Beverly do catering as a hobby along with enjoying time with their three Jack Russell Terriers.

Wayne grew up in Henderson and is a graduate of Henderson High School, Kilgore College, and Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He has been active in the funeral business since 1965 starting as an assistant with Bryan Funeral Home. In 1969 he moved to Tyler where he worked at Lloyd James Funeral Home until 2000, when he returned to Henderson.

Brian was born in Colorado and raised in Oklahoma. After graduating from Keyes High School in 2003, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and also Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Brian enjoys all sports, including fishing and spending all free time with friends and family.

Born 3-2-49 in Henderson. Graduated from Henderson High School in 1967. Attended Kilgore Jr. College. Graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science & Gupton Jones in September, 1970. Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Texas since that time. Graduated from East Texas Police Academy in Kilgore in 1973. Spent 52 months with the City of Henderson Police Department and joined Rusk County District Attorney’s Office as Investigator in September 1977. Still employed by Rusk County DA’s Office. Graduated from FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia in December, 1981. Currently Assigned to East Texas Violent Crime Task Force through the FBI in Tyler, Texas. Member and Past President of Henderson Noon Lions Club. Melvin Jones Fellow from Henderson Lions Club. Member Rusk County Chamber of Commerce and named Henderson’s Outstanding Young Man in 1983. Named Investigator of Year for Texas District and County Attorney’s Association in 2006. Member of East Texas Chapter of Texas Association of Sports Officials as a Football Official since 1982. Member and Men’s Sunday School teacher at Henderson’s First Baptist Church.
Married to Sharon Ramsey Brown since 1969. three married daughters, Traci Cummings of San Antonio, Lori Moores of Henderson and Adrianne Yantis of San Antonio. 5 grandchildren. Enjoys traveling, fishing, golf, yard work, and of course, grandchildren.

Yuless was born in and raised in Morgan City, Louisiana. After graduating from Sacred Heart High School in Morgan City, LA he attended Epiphany Apostolic College in New Burgh, New York where he received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education, American and World History. He is a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and enjoys reading and fishing and working with his church.

Jessie Barnes was born in Henderson to Nimrod and Pauline McKinney. She Attended Henderson High School and was married to the late Dwight Barnes. Jessie worked for KWRD Radio for 30 years and attends First Baptist Church of Henderson. She has one son, Aaron Barnes and his wife Tonya: three grandchildren, Morgan, Megan and Mindy Barnes: and two step grandchildren, Kami and Dakota.

Sandy is the daughter of Roy and Marie Simmons. She grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Huffman High School. She is married to David Gatlin and they moved to Rusk County in 1980. She has three children, Keith, Kyle and Kasey who all graduated from Henderson High School and six grandchildren. Sandy is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where her husband is the pastor. She loves reading, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and white water rafting.
